Product Detail
This is an official Jensen IR library based on the 'Tornado Stealth 100' N12/100 TRS 100W Neodymium speaker. We've systematically captured a Jensen Tornado 100 from the Jet series, installed in three different enclosures, giving you 576 IRs in total. These enclosures include a 1x12' Open Back cabinet, a 1x12' Closed Back cabinet, and a 1x12' Bass Reflex Ported cabinet. Developed with a Jensen Speakers product specialist, it recreates an authentic playing experience, just like using an original speaker. The Tornado 100 is the first Jensen Jet speaker with a 2nd Generation Neodymium magnet design. It's voiced like AlNiCo speakers, unlocking amazing tone potential. It has a balanced sound, clear and smooth, with a powerful bass range. With excellent dynamic range and headroom, it's versatile for clean, crunch, and lead tones. It suits different cabinet types and various musical genres, offering a detailed response for solo runs, chordal harmonies, and lead tones. This library is made for TH - U Supercabinet. You can graphically browse the IRs, blend them, create new cabinet tones with the unique Multiband mode, use the IRs in the software, and export them in .wav, compatible with software IR loaders and major hardware modelers. We used 18 types of microphones during the capture, including AKG C12, AKG C414, etc. Each microphone was placed in 4 horizontal positions, 2 distances, and 2 angles, resulting in 16 IRs per mic. All measurements were repeated for each cabinet. The IRs are phase - aligned, so you can blend them without phase cancellations.
Using this Overloud SuperCabinet Library is easy. First, if you're using the TH - U Supercabinet software, just open it up. You can then graphically browse through the 576 IRs in the library. If you want to create a unique sound, blend different IRs together or use the Multiband mode to craft new cabinet tones. When you're happy with your sound, you can use it right in the software or export the IRs in .wav format to use with other software IR loaders or major hardware modelers. As for the microphones used to capture these IRs, they've been carefully positioned to give you a wide range of sounds. Remember, all the IRs are phase - aligned, so you don't have to worry about phase cancellations when blending. In terms of maintenance, keep your software up - to - date to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. And if you're using the exported .wav files, store them in a safe place on your device to avoid losing them. Enjoy creating amazing music with this library!
