This is an official Jensen IR library based on the 'Raptor' (C12/100 RT) 100W ceramic speaker with 864 impulse responses (IRs). It systematically captures the Jensen Raptor from the Jet series in three different enclosures: 1x12' Open Back, 1x12' Closed Back, and 1x12' Bass Reflex Ported cabinets. Developed with a Jensen Speakers product specialist, it recreates an authentic playing experience. The Raptor is a new Jensen speaker, inspired by the 'American boutique' tones of the '70s and '80s. It has a 100W ceramic design, with a characteristic, vocal midrange, silky-smooth top end, and a solid bass foundation. It's versatile for clean, crunch, and mild gain tones, and in high gain, it delivers a thick, focused tone. This library is made for TH - U Supercabinet, allowing you to graphically browse IRs, blend them, create new cabinet tones with Multiband mode, use IRs in software, and export them in .wav format. During the capturing, 18 different microphones were used, each moved to 4 horizontal positions, 2 distances, and 2 angles, resulting in 16 IRs per mic. All IRs are phase - aligned for seamless blending.
Using this Overloud SuperCabinet Library with Jensen Raptor is easy. First, install it in your TH - U Supercabinet software. Then, you can graphically browse through the 864 IRs to find the sound you like. You can blend different IRs together to create your unique cabinet tones with the Multiband mode. If you want to use the IRs in other software or hardware modelers, just export them in .wav format. When using the library, make sure your software is up - to - date to avoid any compatibility issues. For maintenance, keep your software and library files in a safe place, and back them up regularly.
