Product Detail

The Choptones Supercab IR Library captures the essence of a Marshall 1960 A 4x12 cabinet with Celestion G12 - T75 speakers. This Brit 1960 4x12 T75 library is a comprehensive collection, featuring over 300 IRs captured systematically with 12 microphones, 8 - 16 positions per mic, and multiple Mic preamps. The cabinet, with a slanted front, closed - back, and solid Birch plywood construction, is a favorite for modern rock. The G12 - T75 speakers offer a powerful low - end, aggressive mid - range, and softened top - end, ideal for high - gain amps. Captured using a motorized mic stand for consistency, the session used microphones like AKG C414, Audio Technica 2035, and many others. Each mic was placed in four horizontal positions and two distances, creating eight IRs per mic, and some were also measured off - axis. All measurements were repeated with two different Mic preamps. This library is made for the TH - U Supercabinet, allowing you to browse IRs graphically, blend multiple IRs for custom stereo guitar tones, create new cabinet tones in Multiband mode, and export your crafted IRs in .wav format for various hardware and software.

Using this product is easy. First, load the library into your TH - U Supercabinet. Then, you can start graphically browsing through the IRs to find the tone you like. To create custom tones, blend multiple IRs together. If you want to get more creative, try the Multiband mode to compose new cabinet tones. When you're happy with your creation, export it in .wav format for use with other hardware modelers or software IR loaders. As for maintenance, keep your device and the software up - to - date. Make sure to store the library files in a safe place and back them up regularly. Also, handle your audio equipment with care to avoid any damage. And if you have any issues, refer to the user manual or contact customer support.
