The Nightfox Audio Retro Synthstack combines 13 different analog synth oscillators. We've sampled the iconic Juno - 60, the deep Moog tones, and the sharp Prophet waves. Unlike other samples, we tracked all the quirks and irregularities of these old synths across the whole keyboard. The synths are tracked through tube preamps, arranged, and stacked, allowing you to combine them in new ways. It comes with 4 plugin types (AU, AAX, VST3, and a standalone app) compatible with major DAWs (except Garageband). With 960 samples, onboard mixing faders, 5 per - instrument effects, and 5 additional onboard effects, it offers endless sonic possibilities. The fully customizable arpeggiator, 2 custom filters, 3 LFOs, and 5 portamento controls give you complete control over your sound. There are over 70 presets, and you can create, save, and favorite your own. Our goal is to drive your creativity, letting you stack up to 12 instruments for new hybrid sounds quickly and find inspiration with onboard FX and helpful tools like the arpeggiator and melody builder.
Using the Nightfox Audio Retro Synthstack is a breeze. First, install the plugin on your DAW (make sure it's not Garageband as it's not supported currently). Once installed, you can start exploring the 13 sampled vintage synthesizer oscillators. You can use each oscillator as a solo instrument or blend them together in different configurations. Adjust the onboard mixing faders to balance the sounds of all instruments. Use the 5 per - instrument effects like pan, width, input delay, EQ, and compression to shape each oscillator's tone. The 5 additional onboard effects such as drive, phaser, chorus, delay, and reverb can add more depth to your overall sound. The arpeggiator is fully customizable, so play around with different settings like step number, rate, and patterns to create unique melodies. Remember, all important parameters are automation - capable in major DAWs and CC mappable. When it comes to maintenance, keep your plugin updated to ensure you have the latest features and bug fixes.
