With intelligent randomizers, you can discover new drum sounds daily and unleash your creativity. It has 8 sound engines, each with a Resonator, Wavetable, and Resynth. There are also essential audio effects like Filter, Compressor, Overdrive, and two types of Send Reverbs (Room and Hall). The 16 - step sequencer and pattern generator come with features such as probability, rolls, step delay, swing, and humanize. It supports easy keyboard mapping for patterns, mutes, and engine triggers. You can drag and drop MIDI files and enjoy multiple audio/MIDI outputs. The sound engines share presets, and 3 synthesis layers cover a wide range of timbres. The Kit Page provides easy access to important sound engine functions, and the Finalizer helps balance your drum sounds. Drum sound randomizers and the Auto Fill feature can turn simple patterns into exciting tracks. The Pattern, Mute & Mapping section gives you great control for live performances. The sequencer is feature - rich and can generate complex patterns. It works on macOS 10.9 or higher (Intel or Apple Silicon) and Windows 7 or higher, supporting Audio Unit, VST2, AAX Native, and Standalone (64 - bit only).
To use DrumComputer, first, make sure your system meets the requirements (macOS 10.9 or higher, Windows 7 or higher). Install the plugin in the supported formats (Audio Unit, VST2, AAX Native, Standalone 64 - bit). When you open it, start exploring the 8 sound engines on the Kit Page. You can use the preset browser to quickly change the sound of each channel. Adjust the global pitch and decay controls as you like. The modify knob and profiled random function can help you find unique sounds. For sequencing, use the 16 - step/16 - pattern sequencer. Set the tempo, direction, and step length per track. You can generate complex patterns easily. If you want to add fills, use the Auto Fill feature. When performing live, use the keyboard mapping for quick control of patterns, mutes, and engine triggers. Remember to save your favorite presets.
