Product Detail

The Boss WL-20L wireless system is a great choice for musicians. It's similar to the WL-20, but without cable tone simulation. This makes it perfect for instruments where cable capacitance doesn't affect the tone much, like acoustic/electric guitars with onboard preamps, guitars or basses with active pickups, or line - level devices such as keytars or Roland’s Aerophone digital wind instruments. It also works well with passive pickups if you don't need the treble roll - off from cable tone simulation. The receiver has a 2.4 GHz wireless carrier frequency, 14 compatible channels (may vary by location), a 50 - foot line - of - sight transmission range (also location - dependent), 2.3 ms latency, 110 dB or greater dynamic range, and a 20 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response. It uses a rechargeable lithium - ion battery, with an expected continuous use battery life of about 10 hours. The transmitter has a nominal input level of - 10 dBu, an indicator for the battery, and a continuous use battery life of around 12 hours. Accessories include an owner's manual, a safety leaflet, and a micro USB cable for charging.

Using the Boss WL - 20L wireless system is easy. First, connect the transmitter to your instrument using the 1/4 - inch TRS input plug. Then, charge both the transmitter and receiver using the provided micro USB cable and a standard USB AC adaptor (5 V/over 0.5 A). The receiver can be charged alone in about 3 hours or simultaneously with the transmitter in about 4 hours. Once charged, turn on the receiver and transmitter. The receiver should show the POWER and RECEIVE indicators. You're ready to play! Remember, the transmission range is 50 feet line - of - sight, but this can vary depending on your location. Keep the system away from strong electromagnetic sources. When not in use, store it in a cool, dry place. Regularly check the battery level of both the transmitter and receiver to ensure smooth performance. If you notice any issues, refer to the owner's manual for troubleshooting.
