Overloud SuperCabinet Library: TAF Swamp

TAF SWAMP is an amazing Supercab IR Library crafted by Andy from TheAmpFactory at his Orangetreestudios HQ. It captures the unique sound of a Custom 1x12 with Eminence SwampThang speakers. Andy says it's a hard - hitting speaker, great for heavy tones and palm - mute harder rock variations. It has a push - pull feel that others lack and handles down - tuned guitars extremely well, though not ideal for subtle playing. This library is designed for the TH - U Supercabinet, allowing you to graphically browse IRs, blend multiple IRs for custom stereo guitar tones, compose new cabinet tones with the Multiband mode, and export crafted IRs in .wav format for major hardware modelers and software IR loaders. The speaker is Eminence SwampThang, from a Custom 1x12. It uses a Neve 1073 VR mic pre, has pre - EQ, and active HPF/LPF. 14 different microphones were used to capture the IRs, each moved to 4 horizontal positions and 2 distances, resulting in 8 IRs per mic. All IRs in the library are phase - aligned, so you can blend them without phase cancellations.

How to use: First, load the TAF Swamp library into your TH - U Supercabinet. You can then start graphically browsing the IRs to find the sound you like. To create custom tones, blend multiple IRs together. The Multiband mode is a great way to compose new cabinet tones. When you're happy with your crafted IR, export it in .wav format for use with other hardware modelers or software IR loaders. Note that this speaker is better for heavy and hard - hitting tones, so if you're going for a very subtle sound, it might not be the best choice.
