Overloud SuperCabinet Library: Vocs 2x12 AlnBlue

The Choptones Supercab IR Library features a Vox BNX 2x12 with Celestion Alnico Blue speakers. Both the Zil 2x12 Fat LYN and Vox 2x12 AlnBlue offer over 300 IRs, captured systematically with 12 microphones in 8 - 16 positions each and multiple Mic preamps. The Vox cabinet has a straight front, open back, and solid Birch construction, perfect for AC30 combos. The Celestion Alnico Blue speaker, known for warm and mellow mids, is ideal for blues and clean tones. Captures were done with a motorized mic stand for consistency. Microphones used include AKG C414, Audio Technica 2035, and more. Each microphone was placed in different positions and distances, and some measurements were repeated off - axis. All measurements were repeated with two different Mic preamps. This library is designed for the TH - U Supercabinet, allowing you to browse IRs graphically, blend multiple IRs for custom tones, compose new cabinet tones in Multiband mode, and export IRs in .wav format for major hardware modelers and software IR loaders.

Using this library is easy. First, install it on your TH - U Supercabinet. Then, you can graphically browse through the IRs to find the tone you like. You can blend multiple IRs together to create your own unique stereo guitar tones. In the Multiband mode, have fun composing new cabinet tones. When you're satisfied with your crafted IRs, export them in .wav format and use them with other hardware modelers or software IR loaders. Remember to keep your device updated to ensure compatibility. Also, store your library files in a safe place to avoid data loss. There's no special maintenance required for the library itself, but make sure your hardware is clean and in good working condition.
