This is an official Jensen IR library featuring the 'Raptor' (C12/100 RT) 100W ceramic speaker with 576 IRs. The Jensen Raptor from the Jet series is systematically captured in three different enclosures. It includes a 2x12' Open Back cabinet and a 4x12' Closed Back cabinet. Developed with a Jensen Speakers product specialist, it recreates an authentic playing experience like using an original speaker. The Raptor, a new Jensen speaker, is inspired by the 'American boutique' tones of the 70s and 80s. It has a characteristic, vocal, rounded midrange, a silky - smooth top end, and a solid bass foundation. It's versatile for clean, crunch, and mild gain tones, and in high - gain zones, it delivers a thick, focused tone without harshness. This library is made for TH - U Supercabinet, allowing you to graphically browse IRs, blend them, craft new cabinet tones in Multiband mode, use IRs in software, and export them in .wav format. During the capturing, 18 types of microphones were used. Each microphone was placed in 4 horizontal positions, with two distances and two angles, creating 16 IRs each. All IRs are phase - aligned and can be blended without cancellations.
How to use: First, open the TH - U Supercabinet software. Then, graphically browse through the IRs in the library to find the one that suits your needs. You can blend different IRs together or use the Multiband mode to craft new cabinet tones. You can also use the IRs directly in the software or export them in .wav format for use in other software IR loaders or major hardware modelers. Note: Make sure your software or hardware is compatible with the .wav format when exporting IRs. Also, when blending IRs, be aware of the overall sound balance.
