Overloud SuperCabinet Library: Bogie C2x12 CL80

The Choptones Supercab IR Library features captures of a Mesa Boogie 2x12 Recto Compact with Celestion Classic Lead 80 speakers. The Bogie C2x12 CL80 offers over 300 IRs from a systematic capture using 12 microphones, 8 - 16 positions per mic, and multiple Mic preamps. This small yet powerful Mesa 2x12 cabinet has a straight front, closed - back, and Marine Grade Baltic Birch plywood construction. The '70s - made speakers with fiberglass voice coils deliver a unique, dynamic sound. Ideal for aggressive rhythms and solos, the tone cuts through the mix without being shrill. Captures were done with a motorized mic stand for consistency. Microphones used include AKG C414, Audio Technica 2035, and more. Each mic was moved to four horizontal positions and two distances, and some were measured off - axis (45 deg). All measurements were repeated with two different Mic preamps: Neve 1073 and a German preamp. This library is designed for the TH - U Supercabinet, enabling you to graphically browse IRs, blend multiple IRs for custom stereo guitar tones, create new cabinet tones in Multiband mode, and export IRs in .wav format for major hardware and software.
