Overloud SuperCabinet Library: Angel 4x12 NeoCream

The Angel 4x12 NeoCream is an outstanding Choptones Supercab IR Library. It was crafted by capturing an Engl E412VSB 4x12 cabinet equipped with Celestion Neo Creamback speakers. With 11 microphones, 8 to 16 positions for each, and multiple Mic preamps, it offers over 300 IRs in a thorough and systematic capture. The cabinet features a slanted front and closed - back design, made of solid Siberian Birch plywood, a favorite among metal guitarists. The speaker delivers the classic Creamback tone with half the weight. Thanks to its Neodymium magnet, the G12 NEO Creamback maintains great low - end, punchy midrange, and a refined top - end. A motorized mic stand was used for consistent measurements. The capturing session employed microphones like AKG C414, Audio Technica 2035, and more. Each microphone was moved to four horizontal positions and two distances, resulting in eight IRs per mic. Some measurements were repeated with the mic off - axis (45deg). All sets were measured twice with a Neve 1073 and a German preamp. This library is designed for the TH - U Supercabinet, enabling you to graphically browse IRs, blend multiple ones for custom guitar tones, compose new cabinet tones in Multiband mode, and export crafted IRs in .wav format for various hardware and software.
