Overloud SuperCabinet Library: Zil 2x12 Fat LYN

The Choptones Supercab IR Library captures the unique sound of a Zilla Custom Fatboy 2x12 cabinet with Celestion G12 - 50GL Lynchback speakers. The Zil 2x12 Fat LYN offers over 300 IRs, thanks to an extensive capture using 12 microphones, 8 - 16 positions per mic, and multiple mic preamps. This cabinet, made of solid Baltic Birch plywood with a straight front and closed - back, delivers a modern tone with extra punchy low - mids. The speakers, designed for George Lynch, blend old Celestion heritage with modern features, resulting in a tone between vintage warmth and modern punch. The captures were done with a motorized mic stand for consistency. The microphones used include AKG C414, Audio Technica 2035, Audix i5, and more. Each microphone was placed in four horizontal positions and two distances, and some measurements were repeated off - axis. All sets were measured twice with a Neve 1073 and a German preamp. This library is made for the TH - U Supercabinet, enabling you to graphically browse IRs, blend multiple IRs for custom stereo guitar tones, compose new cabinet tones in Multiband mode, and export crafted IRs in .wav format for major hardware and software.
