Overloud SuperCabinet Library: Eddi3 4x12 EV

The Choptones Supercab IR Library captures the amazing sound of an EVH 5150III 4x12 with Celestion G12 - EVH speakers. Eddi3 4x12 EV offers an extensive capture with 12 microphones, 8 to 16 positions per mic, and multiple Mic preamps, resulting in over 300 IRs. This cabinet has a straight - front, closed - back, seven - ply Birch/Pine plywood construction, delivering a solid and artistic enclosure with powerful tone. Inspired by Eddie Van Halen's early - era Greenback speakers, it's a 20 - watt tone monster. Captures were done with a motorized mic stand for consistency. Microphones used include AKG C414, Audio Technica 2035, Audix i5, and more. Each mic was placed in four horizontal positions and two distances, creating eight IRs each. Some mics had off - axis (45 deg) measurements. All sets were repeated with a Neve 1073 and a German preamp. This library is made for the TH - U Supercabinet, allowing you to graphically browse IRs, blend multiple IRs for custom stereo guitar tones, compose new cabinet tones in Multiband mode, and export crafted IRs in .wav format for major hardware modelers and software IR loaders.
