Product Detail

The TAF Supercab IR Library features a 2x12 Cab with G12M-25 'Creamback' speakers. It's a golden era in rock 'n' roll! As Andy from TheAmpFactory says, after the success of the Greenback, the Cream offers diverse sounds by taming the high - end into more mid - range. Combine it with the Greenback for an even better result. This library is specially created for the TH - U Supercabinet. With it, you can graphically browse IRs, blend them, craft new cabinet tones using the unique Multiband mode, use IRs in the software, and export them in .wav format, which is compatible with software IR loaders and major hardware modelers. Specifications include a Celestion G12M - 25 'Creamback' speaker, a 2x12 Cab origin, a Neve 1073VR mic pre, pre - EQ, and active HPF/LPF. The IRs are captured using 14 different microphones. Each microphone is placed in 4 horizontal positions and 2 distances, resulting in 8 IRs per mic. All IRs in the library are phase - aligned, so you can blend them without phase cancellations.

Using this TAF Supercab IR Library is easy. First, make sure your TH - U Supercabinet is set up and ready. Then, you can start graphically browsing through the IRs in the library to find the tone you like. If you want a unique sound, try blending different IRs together or use the Multiband mode to craft new cabinet tones. You can use these IRs directly in the software. When you're satisfied with your sound, you can export the IRs in .wav format to use with other software loaders or major hardware modelers. As for maintenance, keep your software and hardware updated to ensure compatibility. Since the IRs are in digital format, make sure to store your files in a safe place and back them up regularly. And always remember that all the IRs are phase - aligned, so don't worry about phase cancellations when blending them.
