Product Detail

The Supercab IR Library features a 1x12 cabinet with C12Q speakers. As Andy from TheAmpFactory says, 'Old but reliable, this speaker has endured years of wear yet still sings. It offers a warm embrace in the upper mid - range, ideal for blues players, especially slide guitar enthusiasts.' This library is crafted for the TH - U Supercabinet. With it, you can graphically browse the IRs, blend them seamlessly, create new cabinet tones using the unique Multiband mode, use the IRs in the software, and export them in .wav format, which is compatible with software IR loaders and major hardware modelers. The specifications include a C12Q speaker, a 1x12 cab origin, a Neve 1073VR mic pre, pre - EQ, and active HPF/LPF. The IRs are captured using 14 different microphones. Each microphone is placed in 4 horizontal positions (Cap, Cap Edge, Cone, and Cone Edge) at two distances, resulting in 8 IRs per mic. All IRs in the library are phase - aligned for cancellation - free blending.

Using this SuperCabinet Library is easy. First, make sure your TH - U Supercabinet is set up properly. Then, you can start graphically browsing through the IRs in the library to find the sound you like. If you want to create a unique tone, use the Multiband mode to blend different IRs. When you're happy with your tone, you can use it right in the software or export it in .wav format for other compatible devices. Keep in mind that since all the IRs are phase - aligned, you don't have to worry about phase cancellations when blending. As for maintenance, keep your software and hardware up - to - date to ensure the best performance. And when handling the hardware modelers, treat them gently to avoid any damage.
