Product Detail

Supercab IR Library features a 1x12 cab equipped with Tayden New Vintage Alnico speakers. It offers a fresh take on a classic. As Andy from TheAmpFactory says, it's highly addictive and plays well with others, allowing you to mix and match for various tones. This library is made for TH - U Supercabinet. You can graphically browse the IRs, blend them, create new cabinet tones in the unique Multiband mode, use the IRs in the software, and export them in .wav format, which is compatible with software IR loaders and major hardware modelers. The specs include Tayden New Vintage Alnico speakers, a 1x12 cab origin, a Neve 1073VR mic pre, pre - EQ, and active HPF/LPF. The IRs are captured using 14 different microphones, each placed in 4 horizontal positions and 2 distances, resulting in 8 IRs per mic. All IRs in the library are phase - aligned for seamless blending.

Using this SuperCabinet Library is easy. First, make sure you have the TH - U Supercabinet software installed. Then, load the library into the software. You can start graphically browsing the IRs to find the tones you like. If you want to create a unique sound, use the blend feature or the Multiband mode. When you're happy with your tone, you can use it right in the software or export it in .wav format for use with other compatible loaders or hardware modelers. As for maintenance, keep your software up - to - date to ensure the best performance. Also, make sure your computer meets the software's system requirements. When using different microphones, remember that each position and distance can give you a different sound, so feel free to experiment. Since all the IRs are phase - aligned, you don't have to worry about phase cancellations when blending, but it's still a good idea to listen carefully to your final mix.
