Product Detail

The TAF Supercab IR Library is a gem, capturing the magic of a Vox AC30 from the 65/66 era, paired with Celestion Blue Pre - Rola speakers. Andy from TheAmpFactory says these 'Blue' speakers are the reason he started making his own IRs. They have a unique character - soft and gentle until you push them, then they get feisty in an endearing way. He believes this is the pinnacle of guitar tones, a timeless sound that will never go out of style. This very amp and its speaker were in Abbey Road Studios and were used in many Beatles recordings. Even today, it's in its original form, working perfectly! This library is designed for the TH - U Supercabinet. With it, you can graphically browse the IRs, blend multiple ones for custom stereo guitar tones, create new cabinet tones in the unique Multiband mode, and export your crafted IRs in .wav format for use with major hardware modelers and software IR loaders. The specs are top - notch: Celestion Blue Pre - Rola speakers, from the Vox AC30 65/66 era, with a Neve1073/VR Legend Console mic pre, pre - EQ, and active HPF/LPF. The IRs were captured using 14 different microphones. Each mic was placed in four horizontal positions (Cap, Cap Edge, Cone, and Cone Edge) and at two distances, giving 8 IRs per mic.

Using this Overloud SuperCabinet Library is a breeze. First, make sure your TH - U Supercabinet is set up and ready to go. Once it's on, you can start graphically browsing through the IRs in the library. If you want to create your own unique guitar tones, use the blending feature to combine multiple IRs. The Multiband mode is great for coming up with new cabinet tones, so play around with it to find the sound you like. When you're happy with your crafted IRs, export them in .wav format and use them with your favorite hardware modelers or software IR loaders. As for maintenance, keep your device in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you encounter any issues, refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer's support team.
