The core cabinets are captured through his 4 favorite power amps - H&H V800 (Solid State), Mesa 2:Ninety (6L6), VHT 2150 (KT88), and VHT Classic (EL34), giving classic cabinet tones with a legendary guitar rack flavor. This library features Steve Vai's unique 4x12' touring cab from the 'Eat Em and Smile' and Skyscraper tours, loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. With 18 microphones and 16 positions for each, repeated for all 4 power amps, there are a total of 1152 IRs. The H&H power amp is a solid - state gem for arena - touring rock acts. The Mesa 2:Ninety, popular in the '90s, offers sweet and aggressive tones. The VHT 2150 is a powerful battleship of an amp, and the VHT Classic has a distinct British flavor.
