Product Detail

The Choptones Supercab IR Library is crafted by capturing a Mesa Boogie 2x12 Horizontal fitted with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. Andy from TheAmpFactory says, 'This speaker is incredibly smooth, like butter. Distorted tones usually have a harsh edge, but this one softens it. The upper mid - range is really pleasing, and the low - end stays focused. It's perfect for that driving rock sound.' This library is designed for the TH - U Supercabinet. With it, you can graphically browse IRs, blend multiple IRs to create unique stereo guitar tones, compose new cabinet tones in Multiband mode, and export your custom IRs in .wav format for all major hardware modelers and software IR loaders. The specs include a Warehouse ET90 speaker, a Great River MP2nV mic pre, pre - EQ, and active HPF/LPF. The IRs were captured using 14 different microphones. Each microphone was placed in four horizontal positions and two distances, resulting in eight IRs per mic. All IRs in the library are phase - aligned, so you can blend them without phase cancellations.

Using this Overloud SuperCabinet Library is a breeze. First, if you have the TH - U Supercabinet, you can start by graphically browsing through the IRs in the library. This helps you quickly find the tone you like. To create your own unique sound, try blending multiple IRs. Just play around with different combinations until you get that perfect stereo guitar tone. The Multiband mode is also really cool. You can use it to compose brand - new cabinet tones. Once you're happy with your creation, export it in .wav format to use with other hardware modelers or software IR loaders. When using the library, make sure your system meets the requirements for the TH - U Supercabinet or the device you're using to load the IRs. Also, since the IRs are phase - aligned, you don't have to worry about phase cancellations when blending. As for maintenance, keep your digital files stored safely. You can back them up to an external hard drive or a cloud storage service to prevent data loss. And if you have any software - related issues, check the manufacturer's website for updates and support.
