Product Detail

This official Jensen IR library is based on the C15K Ceramic speaker from the Vintage series. It systematically captures the Jensen Vintage Ceramic C15K speaker installed on a 1x15' open - back enclosure, with a total of 608 IRs. Developed with a Jensen Speakers product specialist, it recreates an authentic playing experience. The C15K, a contemporary version of the C15N, offers full - sounding tones. With powerful bass, rich midrange, and smooth yet extended treble, it's ideal for traditional jazz, fusion, and roots rock players. Overloud's proprietary capturing with 19 mics in 16 positions shows the C15K's versatility. This library is made for TH - U Supercabinet, allowing you to graphically browse IRs, blend them, craft new cabinet tones in Multiband mode, use IRs in software, and export them in .wav format compatible with software IR loaders and major hardware modelers. The capturing used 18 different microphones, each in 4 horizontal positions, 2 distances, and 2 angles, resulting in 16 IRs per mic. All IRs are phase - aligned and can be blended without phase cancellations.

Using this product is easy. First, if you have the TH - U Supercabinet, you can start by graphically browsing the IRs in the library. You can pick the ones you like and blend them together to create your unique cabinet tones. The Multiband mode is a great feature to play around with to get that perfect sound. To use the IRs in the software, just load them as you normally would. And if you want to use them with other hardware modelers, export the IRs in the .wav format. As for maintenance, keep your software up - to - date to ensure compatibility. Make sure your storage device where you keep the library is in good condition. When handling the microphones during capturing, be gentle as they are sensitive. Remember, all the IRs are phase - aligned, so you can blend them without worry about phase cancellations, but don't make extreme changes all at once to avoid unexpected sound issues.
